Collecting leaves, cones and rhinestones, holding your hand to a horse’s nostrils, going barefoot in a mountain stream, guessing images in the clouds – nature is the best playground for children!
Hiking with the kids? Why not! When there is so much to discover, explore and conquer, walking suddenly becomes exciting. Paths and trails that are suitable for children and push-chairs criss-cross the plateau above Hafling, with refreshments awaiting along the route offering playgrounds or play areas for junior visitors, making family outings both exciting and relaxing for all concerned! Dotting the meadows and pastures are chestnut horses: these mild-mannered Haflingers will find their way to kids’ hearts in no time. Stroking manes or going riding help form close bonds – and Hafling’s numerous horse farms will make sure of it.
An afternoon’s adventure down on the farm, searching for wood sprites – a wide-ranging children’s programme ensures that the even smallest guests can experience and explore the region in their own way.
Lucki’s children’s area at the Meran 2000 family ski area is the source of plenty of stories to tell Mummy, while racing down on the Alpin Bob through the snowy Alpine landscape also means lots of fun for young and old alike!
Children also need a holiday. They too need time for themselves, to play, to romp around, to enjoy time with their parents. “Our philosophy is that our guests should take time for family and nature, so we do not offer an all-round programme of entertainment as we are convinced that the best family moments are those spent in the great outdoors! Experiencing our region together means excitement, stimulation and bonding.”
